Tombras, a 330+ person, full-service, national advertising agency with a digital mindset, is seeking a Jr. Digital Designer to join the Digital Design/ UX Department.

The Opportunity:

• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to development
• Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex roadblocks
• Create wireframes, design libraries, web concepts and interactive prototypes to communicate interaction and design ideas
• Present and defend designs to peers, clients and executive level stakeholders
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
• Create exemplary, intuitive, unique and user-centric visual design solutions
• Communicate with the project design team, technical directors, developers and digital project managers throughout all stages including concepting/production
• Work within a defined process and keep all work organized according to agency standards

The Skillset:

• 2+ years of proven digital/web/visual design experience within advertising or design shop preferred
• Understanding and expertise in web design and web UI elements
• Strong online portfolio, showcasing works across digital channels
• Strong proficiency in Sketch/Figma, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator
• Ability and passion to create superior, original designs for the Web
• Understand the principles of Information Architecture and online usability
• An understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript
• Ability to communicate and work in a team environment
• Passion for staying abreast of the newest digital trends
• Prototyping experience in tools like Invision
• Motion, Animation, and 3D experience a plus.
• Degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, digital design or related field, and/or a combination of portfolio school experience (VCU, SCAD, Miami Ad School, Creative Circus, etc.)
